Zandvoort Surf Guide
Zandvoort on the West Coast is an exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the north northwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
