Porth Nefyn Surf Guide
Porth Nefyn on Lleyn is a sheltered beach and point break that does not work very often. Winter and spring are the favoured times of year to visit. Works best in offshore winds from the southeast with some shelter here from west winds. Windswells are much more common than groundswells and the ideal wave direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right and there is also a left hand point break. Best around high tide when the tide is falling. Rarely crowded here.
