Nettley Bay Point Surf Guide
Nettley Bay Point on the West Coast is an exposed point break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast with some shelter here from southwest winds. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rips and rocks.
