Michaud Point Surf Guide
Michaud Point in Cape Breton Island is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Ideal winds are from the north northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the east. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Be wary of rips - they make surfing here dangerous.
