Makaha Surf Guide
Makaha in Lima is an exposed reef break that has very consistent waves and works all around the year. Offshore winds blow from the east northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. Both left and right reef breaks. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rocks, man-made danger (buoys etc...) and pollution.
