Challaborough in South Devon is a fairly exposed beach and point break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights Watch out for rocks.
