  1. Everything followed the forecast on the the Golden Bay West coast on Friday. Overhead clean conditions in the early morning gave way to declining swell and a NE cross-shore breeze around hight tide, then almost glassy again for an hour or so before it went westerly, by which time the sets had lost a thrid of their size. Sunny with humid air after the rain so feeling very warm .

  22. Went to surf the spot, very good swell that are fun.
  23. Decent sloppy swells peeling right handed. Set waves are around 1 meter.
  24. A little bigger again on Wednesday. The easterly was affecting breaks north of here and although it was about calm at Anatori there was still some easterly windswell and even some SW chop from Kahurangi Point. Sets were a foot overhead here and as usual of late, it was better on the east end of the bay than at the point itself. Sunny. Just two of us out.

  27. Tuesday high tide swell was bigger than Monday, just as forecast, with sets overhead at the most exposed reefs and only brief lulls. Unfortunately, the wind was also as forecast. Even though there was a strong easterly whipping up a windswell in Golden Bay, a SW breeze from Paturau south was strong enough to make a few whitecaps. Even so, pretty good. Sunny and warm.
