Villa Reef Surf Guide

Villa Reef in Praslin is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the north northeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of paddle, jagged reef, Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
