Tallebudgera Surf Guide
Tallebudgera on the Gold Coast is a reasonably exposed beach break that has quite consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the west with some shelter here from south winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south southeast. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's often crowded here. Hazards include rips, rocks, sharks, locals, rips.
