Southerndown Surf Guide
Southerndown in The Vale of Glamorgan is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Rocks are a hazard.
