Shark Island(Cronulla) in Sydney South is a fairly exposed reef break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. A right hand reef break. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care to avoid the rocks.
