Saquarema Surf Guide
Saquarema in Rio de Janeiro Norte is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. Ideal winds are from the north. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the south. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. The crowds in the water make a gath helmet a good idea.
