Sand Patch Beach in Far South Australia is an exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the north northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of rips, rocks and sharks.
