Works best in offshore winds from the south southeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Able to handle light onshore wind Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the best wave direction is from the north. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded.
