Punta San Carlos Surf Guide
Punta San Carlos in Baja Norte is an exposed reef and point break that has reasonably consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The right hand reef break is better than the left. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include urchins and rocks.
