Foto de Surf de Patons Rock: 'Rare surfing day in Golden Bay' por Rob Davies
Shoulder, even head high, clean surf is unusual for Golden Bay. Patons rock is a good compromise between exposure to an easterly swell and shelter from the SE wind, cross-off here with much shelter from the reef itself. Surprisingly good quality surf, breaking just a few times each winter. Bigger to the north, but the wind tends to be more of a problem there.
