Works best in offshore winds from the southeast with some shelter here from south winds. Still reasonable in light onshore winds Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of buoys.
