Macauleys Surf Guide
Macauleys on the North Coast is an exposed point break that usually has waves. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The beach breaks consists of lefts and there is also a left hand point break. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's often crowded here. Beware of rips, rocks and sharks.
