Lygia reef Surf Guide
Lygia reef in Ionian Sea is an exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Offshore winds are from the northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. There is no reef break. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of urchins, rips.
