La Perle Surf Guide
La Perle in Guadeloupe - Grande Terre is a sheltered sandbar break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds blow from the southeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Clean groundswells prevail and the optimum swell angle is from the northwest. The sandbar break offers both left and right hand waves. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. The crowds in the water make a gath helmet a good idea.
