The best wind direction is from the north and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Able to handle light onshore wind Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. There is no reef break. Surfable at all stages of the tide. Crowds are never a problem here. Hazards include - Urchins - Rocks - Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
