Uploaded so this site can figure where the tide was at the time of this image. That way we will get some idea of how much uplift there is. First impressions for the Kaikoura breaks is that high water is now about where low water was. That is going to have a huge effect and north of here that uplift gets even more.

Bernie Calder | Myself and others consider that the stretch between ROSYMORN and the bridge in the background suffered bugger all uplift in the Nov 14th quakes. There is not the band of dead intertidal life like there is north and south of this stretch. |
