Etretat Surf Guide
Etretat in Normandy is an exposed reef break that usually has waves, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. A reef breaks left. Best around mid tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of rocks / crowds / pollution.
