Elliott Heads Surf Guide
Elliott Heads in Queensland North Coast is a fairly exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right with no particular seasonal pattern. Offshore winds blow from the west and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the east northeast. No reef break here. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for - Rocks - Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
