East Beach Surf Guide
East Beach in North Coast of Tasmania is an exposed beach break that only works once in a while. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the south southeast. Waves can be ok even in light onshore winds Windswells are much more common than groundswells and the best wave direction is from the north. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
