Cook Bay in Moorea is an exposed reef break that usually has waves. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the south with some shelter here from southeast winds. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the north northeast. Both right (best) and left reef breaks.. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rocks, fire coral and sharks.
