Carpenters Rocks Surf Guide
Carpenters Rocks on the East Coast is an exposed reef and bombora break that has reasonably consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south southwest. There are left and right breaking reefs. Best around mid tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
