Bonny Hills Surf Guide
Bonny Hills in Port Macquarie is an exposed point break that has consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the favoured times of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The point break offers mainly left hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rips, rocks and locals.
