Bermagui Rivermouth in Far South New South Wales is a sheltered reef break that only works when conditions are just right. The best wind direction is from the southwest. The best swell direction is from the east northeast. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include urchins, rips, rocks, obstacles, private, pollution and sharks.
