Unusual swell direction, much more straight on that the usual SW. It worked well at this break near Anatori at high tide. Hard work getting out. I tried to avoid beatings by taking the first or second wave in a set and then riding that all the in to the shore and then wait for a lull to paddle back out as fast as possible.
