Albufeira Surf Guide
Albufeira in The Algarve is a sheltered beach break. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds blow from the north northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south. The beach breaks favour lefts. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here.
