7.15.am Tuesday. A little smaller and a little breezier than yesterday. Rest Bay is about 1ft+ and should pick up to around 2ft towards high tide, dropping as the tide drops. Just to avoid any confusion today - It WILL go flatish around low tide this evening.

- Between knee and waist-high clean swell with 6 SUPs out at the middle and one getting the occasional wave at the point. Lovely evening.

Ma Simes Surf hut:
‘Whitesands Bay: 1-2 ft clean waves today with light cross/offshore winds . A few small 1 ft waves on sets this morning on the push leading up to high tide. Should pick up on the drop after midday with some 2 ft sets this afternoon before dropping off at low tide this evening. 1-2 ft tomorrow and Wednesday.’
