Pondalowie Bay in Yorke Peninsula is a fairly exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the east southeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. A reef breaks left. Likely to be crowded if working. Watch out for rips and sharks.
