Aloha Surf School:
‘Fanore surf report: Well with May drawing to a close, the weather's been great, but the sea a bit flat. We have a ridge of high pressure over us that is sandwiched beween a low pressure out in the Atlantic and a low over Europe. This is fairly stable and looks like we will have generally warm, settled, calm weather right through the week and the Bank Holiday weekend. The good news is that this low pressure out in the Atlantic will produce some clean groundswell later in the week and for the weekend, so we will have good weather and waves for next weekend! Because of the position of this low...’

‘Harlyn report: It's still as flat as flat can be around here this morning. With these light winds though the option of SUPing or other paddling becomes a more inviting proposition. It really is a bitch to paddle a SUP in windy conditions! But today it's all calm and glassy and flat. No good for surfing but maybe a good day for a paddle!’

7.15.am Tuesday. A little smaller and a little breezier than yesterday. Rest Bay is about 1ft+ and should pick up to around 2ft towards high tide, dropping as the tide drops. Just to avoid any confusion today - It WILL go flatish around low tide this evening.

‘10-30 knots SE. Get out early as swell and winds are to increase through the morning and day. Coolum cove and bays have some fun rides on the half tides. Mudjimba and Maroochy areas with some tide in for good shore breaks. Noosa and Mooloolaba are protected from the winds but tinny or flat, perfect for swimming and beach day for the family.’

We have waves crew! There's 2ft. + of SE swell on the open beaches and its 1-2ft in the S corners. The winds are fresh from the S early and strong SSE winds are forecast for later in the day. Small ones on the points and the S corners are the pick this morning as the open beaches are affected by the fresh S winds. Swell should increase a bit during the morning after the 8.30am low tide. Have a great day!
-
Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: We're finally back to light offshore NNE winds this morning, but the last few days of onshore winds have left it a bit lumpy. Surf is still around 4' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch and 2 - 3' around the Chiton / Gap side, where it's a bit cleaner. You might get a small grovel at The Dump if you're desperate.’
-
Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds are light offshore ESE and conditions are clean and glassy early, and there's even a little bit of swell left. Surf is around 1' on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and the tide coming in until just after 9am. The dropping tide will kill it a bit but the beachies should have small waves through low tide mid arvo.’
-
Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1 metres(3') 20 knots Protected beaches are your best pick today as the winds will be picking up later in the day.’
