Winthrop Jetty in Massachusetts is an exposed reef/Jetty break that has quite reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the west with some shelter here from south winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the east northeast. There is a right hand reef break. Best around mid tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include rocks and pollution.
