Sulingan Beach in Eastern Samar is an exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the southwest. Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the best wave direction is from the northeast. A choice of left and right reefs. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include rocks, coral and urchins.
