Siesta in Florida is an exposed beach/Pier break that has inconsistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast with some shelter here from north winds. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the south southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. It's often crowded here.
