Sandon Point in Sydney South is an exposed point break that has very consistent surf. Winter and spring are the favoured times of year to visit. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. It's sometimes crowded here. Watch out for rips, rocks and locals.
