Sand Key Jetty in Alabama is an exposed beach/Jetty break. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast. There is too little fetch for groundswells to form and the best wave direction is from the northwest. The beach breaks favour rights. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rocks and obstacles.
