Salt Rock in Kwazulu-Natal is a reasonably exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the south. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Sometimes crowded. Sharks may be a hazard at this break.
