Ribeira Grande in Azores(Ilha de S. Miguel) is a fairly exposed beach break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the north northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. It very rarely gets crowded here.
