Punta Higuero in Atlantic is an exposed beach break that has reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the north. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
