Praia d'Agua in Santa Caterina is a sheltered beach break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care of the strong rips here.
