Pontinha in Ericeira is an exposed reef break that has dependable surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the north northwest. No beach break here and there is also a right hand reef break.. Best around high tide. Beware of urchins,rocks and rips.
