Myponga Beach in Adelaide is a sheltered reef break that has quite consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There is a left hand reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide.
