Lighthouse/Cadis in San Luis Obispo is an exposed beach break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for rips, rocks and sharks.
