La Brava in Atacama is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach tend to peel to the right. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rips and rocks.
