El Claron in Santiago is an exposed point break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest.The break here is a left hand point. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
